Pricing and
Insurance Coverage

Due North requires payment at or before the time of service. You may call ahead and add a payment method to your account or provide your driver with a check made out Due North Transportation LLC. We do not accept or carry cash.

Ambulatory Transport: $25

Our ambulatory service includes door through door. This means our staff will help the client in and out of the destination. Additional fees may apply and the price may vary during evening and weekend hours.

Wheelchair Transport: $33

Our fleet consists of all commercial minivans which are quieter, warmer, and provide a more comfortable ride for our clients. We are able to accommodate all chair types up to 48 inches wide with a total weight of 1,000 lbs. Additional fees may apply and the price may vary during evening and weekend hours.

Stretcher Transportation: $175

Our stretchers are state of the art. We are specially equipped to accommodate all body types as our equipment is extra wide compared to a standard stretcher at 19 inches. Our stretchers are 34 to 41 inches wide. Again, you or your loved one will be more comfortable as we transport our clients in specially modified minivans. A companion is welcome to ride along and included in the price above.

Mileage

Ambulatory & Wheelchair: $2.50 per loaded mile

Stretcher: $3.15 per loaded mile

Empty mileage: $1.25 if we travel over 20 miles

After hours: Rate vary by region please call to inquire

Dialysis & Reoccurring Transport

We offer a 10-15% discount for our clients with reoccurring needs like dialysis and cancer treatment.

Insurance Coverage

Due North Transportation accepts most payors in our services area. These insurance carriers all have plans that cover special transportation services for certain circumstances. If you are unsure if you qualify for special transportation services through your carrier feel free to call us for assistance or call your carrier.

*Medicare clients - Medicare, Medicare Part C (replacement plans), and Medicare supplemental plans typically do not pay for our services.  If you have one of these plans, your pricing would follow the guideline above but we encourage you to check with your plan for coverage specifics.
